Plymouth's entry in the
world-famous Nottinghill Carnival.
|
| they used the fruity props,
shown here, to give a tropical feel to the float. |
 |
 |
with
the emphasis on steel they chose a theme with a metallic feel softened
by the all-white drummers' outfits, the tropical fruits and the
balloons. Lenor provided some sponsorship support. |
| ..they had a massive canvaas banner painted for
the carnaval, with their logo - you can just see it off to the left,
here. Those flags you can see are really eye-catching. (you can get
customised flags - ask your suplier) |
 |
| here's a picture of their banner |

this
little lady looked so cute and the picture seemed to sum up the the
whole Nottinghill Carnival atmosphere for us.. so we just had to
include it :-) |
| the band did real well, keeping up their drumming
through thick and thin.. |
 |
 |
..and
thanks must go to the lorry crew for making sure the drive was the best
in the carnival! |

Here's what Real Steel had
to say:
"Success at Carnival!! This year was possibly Real
Steel's finest, coming away with 2nd place in the 'band on the road'
competition. With sponsorship from Lenor and help from a local company,
the float was our best ever by a long way! "
